Concept Check
$295One concept package, up to 15 pages
A written review and priority questions for your designer. Best for testing whether the concept is buildable, whether the scope is realistic, and where the disproportionate costs are hiding.
Drawing Reviews
From $295. The cheapest moment to change an expensive detail is before anybody prices it.
Why this matters
Details get drawn that no crew wants to frame. Materials get specified that cost more without performing better. Assemblies get called out that trigger a change order the moment real site conditions turn up.
Your designer's job is to produce a coordinated, permittable set, and that is a different job from mine. My job is to look at the same set and ask what it will cost you in the field, in RFIs, and in maintenance ten years from now.
The three reviews
$295One concept package, up to 15 pages
A written review and priority questions for your designer. Best for testing whether the concept is buildable, whether the scope is realistic, and where the disproportionate costs are hiding.
From $495One set, up to 40 sheets
A structured comment schedule, the likely RFI and change order triggers, and questions for the designer of record. Best before permit submission or before the set goes out for tender.
From $895One set plus one quote, up to 60 pages
A coverage matrix showing what the price does and does not cover, plus contradictions, assumptions, and the questions to send back to both the contractor and the designer.
A real example
One project. Three rounds of comments.
Reviewed before and during the early project decisions. A few of the items that came out of it:
These are items identified and proposed on one real project. Every project is different and no outcome is guaranteed.
Scope
Constructability and completeness observations only. This is not code compliance certification, design approval, engineering, or a substitute for your designer or engineer of record. Larger or unusually complex sets are quoted separately.
If this drawing set is part of a garden suite, basement suite, duplex conversion, severance, or purpose-built rental, say so on the form. That is usually a longer conversation than a single review, and I would rather scope it properly than sell you the wrong thing.
